We play mainstream jazz and swing - the
music of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, George Gershwin etc. Our usual
line-up is trumpet, tenor sax, piano, bass and drums, together with female and
male vocalists singing the songs made famous by Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone,
Frank Sinatra etc. The size of the group can be varied from 3-6 players.
For dancing we play a very varied programme, adding some rhythm and blues,
funk, jive and rock to our usual repertoire of jazz, swing, blues and Latin.
We are very experienced musicians, having played for a large number of weddings
and parties.

Transport yourself back to the times of Louis XIV with the soft tones of
Bradford Baroque Band. Professional musicians play copies of period
instruments, well-known for lively and virtuosic performances. Spinet,
cello, bassoon, flute & recorder often expand to include strings to become a
full baroque orchestra with singers. C17th & C18th repertoire includes
Bach, Handel, Telemann, etc. Historic houses, private parties, weddings,
concerts, events with supper. Prices £100-£150 per player depending on
location and length of engagement.

Manchester's most popular Irish folk,
rock and ballads band. The band play colleges, pubs, Irish clubs, weddings
(and yes.. funerals), you name it and we play!! We are a four piece band featuring
Fiddle and banjo, guitar and bass, with plenty of "bottom end" to make
the night go with a bang. Plenty of jigs and reels, sing-a-long songs,
dancing songs.. we do the lot (except pop). The band are available for
gigs in 2001, and will travel around two hours from Manchester at weekends, one
hour during the week. Best new is though.. you will be able to afford us!!
